About Us

Hey There!

I'm Caroline Conner, wine teacher, youtuber, and entrepreneur. Otherwise known as Wine Dine Caroline!

Before pivoting into online wine education, I started Lyon Wine Tastings. With 14 years in the hospitality industry, it was a dream to introduce guests from all over the world to the wines of Burgundy and the Rhône.

The pandemic changed all that, and in March 2020 I started offering free virtual wine tastings to fellow shuttered tourism operators. My tastings took off, being mentioned in the New York Times, Business Insider, and more!

Since then, I've developed a winning formula for virtual wine tastings, leading to wonderful portfolio of corporate clients who keep coming back again and again.

I hold a BA in Archaeology & Anthropology from the University of Oxford, a cuisine and patisserie diploma from Le Cordon Bleu, and most importantly, my Wine & Spirits Education Trust level 4 Diploma. I am currently studying to become a Master of Wine.

Expert Sommeliers

We work with veteran wine industry professionals with extensive experience to ensure that your event is interesting and educational.

But more importantly than that, our Somms are cool people that are a blast to hang out with.

Our tastings are super fun!

We know that the whole point is to have a great time, not to drone on about soil type for hours. Believe us, we know how boring that is.
